Thoughts about intimacy

Intimacy is difficult if you are aloof and distant. When you are loving and caring it is easier to relate to your partner and family members.

Welcome to my new Blog!

I have been a practicing psychotherapist since June 1. 1973. I am a recognized expert in the field of marriage and family therapy.  Over the years I have worked with individuals and couples coast-to-coast and internationally, including my recent work with servicemen and women stationed in war zones, separated from their families and in need of my help to maintain their relationships with family members at home. My clients learn there are five conflict syles: Conflict Avoider, Conflict Fixer, Conflict Goof-up, Conflict Antagonist, Conflict Innovator and that helps them get deeply involved. Clients learn four traumatic fears: rejection, abandonment, betrayal, neglect and that enables them to better grasp why their issues are so difficult to overcome.

Now I’m looking forward to sharing some insights with you here in my new Blog.
